Dr. Sarman Singh is director
of the Clinical Microbiology and Immunology Laboratory at the All India
Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi since 1991 and has been
supervising laks of routine and highly specialized investigations and
providing counseling to the AIDS and TORCH patients. For his work on
infectious diseases he has been awarded by various National &
International Scientific Organizations. He has also undertaken several
research projects of national importance on these diseases and his
recommendations are endorsed by Govt. of India. His TORCH reference
laboratory receives samples from throughout India and patients with
discordant results from other labs are referred to him for his expert and
final opinion. He has written several books on TORCH & AIDS for doctors as
