The free community
kitchen at Sikh Gurdwaras all over the world is a practice which was
started by Sikh Gurus.'Pahle pangat phir sangat' as a hungry person
sitting in the sangat can not pay the attention to gurbani.Thats why
every one has to sit in the same pangat and eat same food as a symbol
of equality. Over 30000 persons take the free food at Golden Temple in
Amritsar daily.This is quite unbelievable as no body in the world can
provide free kitchen to such a big gathering everyday. Similarly,
hundreds and thousands of persons take free food at various gurdwaras
