My only suggestion is this , to ask the Jathedaars of five Takhats ,
to meet & to pass a Resolution that sikhs should be Pooran Saabat
Soorat sikh ( N-Trimming ,No-cleanshaveness ) , only then we could
go to our CharhdiKala & no one dares to face our JALAAL .
Thanks

The issue as reported by media:  “Sikhs are demanding an apology from the leader of a religious sect who appeared in an advert dressed like one of the Sikh religion's most important figures. Sikh community leaders say it is an insult to their religion.”

Why?  It is a free world and anyone can dress anyway they want. Is there a reason for people to get offended if someone wants to copy their uniform?  The copying of the dress is a part of, but not the core issue here. I would say, all baptized Sikhs should be dressed in the bana as given to us by our Guru. The uniform of the khalsa’ is indeed what Guru Ji wants every true baptized Sikh to wear and adhere to.

Ram Rahim Singh is not a Sikh. He leads some social/cultural organization. He also has gained a bad reputation with criminal rape charges against him. Sikh sentiments are hurt because this particular character appeared in an advertisement, dressed like Guru Gobind Singh ji. Perhaps, this con man is trying to gain a better following or get some leverage to get the criminal charges of rape, etc to be dropped or difficult to enforce, if he dresses as the Sikh Guru. Or perhaps, just the propaganda he has caused with this appearance is enough for such bad elements to spread a bad perspective of Sikhs in front of the world public who do not know Sikhs and do not understand the intricacies of the issue.

SSA,

There are two things which are hurting the Sikhs and Punjab.I wish we could control this trend The issues are as under;-                                                                                                                   The mixing of dirty politics with sikh issues. When Parkash singh needed  the votes of Dera chief he and his son paid obeisance to him This gives belief to credulous persons to develop faith for persons such as Dera chief.and  encourage the persons like chief to declare themselves as Gurus.

The trend  in Sikh Community  to go on calling any  person as Babaji or Sants if he is wearing  robes of saintly person without knowing his credetials

This is hapening because our politcal class subordinating  the chiefs of Takhts I hope you will agree my feeligs . With regards , Yours truly,

Harbans Singh

All the sikh leaders are responsible for the all the bad action instead of adding more to their religion they are excummunicating just for nothing . let them do some introspection.

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh, dera sachcha sauda is really a unacceptable issue.
we can't imagine that how a great part of our population can believe only on a single corrupted man(ram rahim).i think that the major need of our state is to put some intelligent leaders in the major parts of our state to give the information about sikhism..
waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh
